By controlling our margins in particular, we were able to offer you a competitive quality/price ratio, which was quickly recognized in the industry for its accuracy, making this a characteristic of our positioning and our values.
We have always been keen to be transparent with our customers on this subject and that is why today we could not ignore the price increase that we will be making in the coming weeks.
A tense global economic context
It goes without saying that the current global context that we are experiencing has put many professions to the test, including those in crafts in particular. The health situation due to the COVID-19 crisis and the various confinements that it has caused have led to slowdowns, or even shutdowns, of production, directly impacting the increase in prices in the shoe sector, but also in textiles.
This rise in raw materials thus initiated, which was accompanied by higher costs of labor and transport, was only exacerbated by the recent geopolitical events affecting Eastern Europe.
How are we impacted?
Our various production workshops have unfortunately not escaped this situation and have been directly impacted by these successive crises. This notably resulted in an increase in their prices of more than 10%, from January 2022. Our margins have been directly affected, especially since they are, as you already know, tight. in order to be able to offer you the fair price of our products.
Faced with this complicated economic context and in order to best ensure the longevity and sustainability of our House, we are now forced to adjust the prices of some of our shoes, which results in an increase in around twenty euros per model .
This change will take place on September 1, 2022.
As you will have understood, this increase reflects neither a new vision nor a change in strategy for our House, which has always been to democratize high-end shoes. On the contrary, we wish to be able to continue to respect our commitments regarding the quality of our products without lowering our standards. Our desire remains completely unchanged, namely to preserve our know-how.
