Goodyear welted construction

Like most of our collection, the Gatsby is made with Goodyear welted, an assembly which guarantees a longevity to the shoe and the possibility, once worn, of re-sole it.

This last is the perfect compromise between the elegance of the 199 and the ease of the 206. The comfortable fit adapts to the widest range of foot morphologies.

Pebble grained

The Cognac pebble grained calf leather from the Tannerie Dupuy, a house having obtained the french label EPV (it can be translate as: Living Heritage Company). This full-grain calfskin, colored flat by hand directly in our factory, has the advantage of being resistant while remaining dressed, with the possibility of doing a "glaçage" on it.
This manual coloring gives your Septième Largeur this unique shade, which will evolve over time through reflections and a natural patina.

Double-needle handmade stitching

An upper made up of two double-needle handmade stitching jointed leather inserts. An exceptional gesture, still completely manual, performed with the strength of the arms in our workshops in Spain, guaranteeing resistance and inimitable finesse to your shoe. You will also notice the slight mark on the hard end of the reverse handmade stitching which will only show up over time.

Goodyear welted construction

This sewn consists of two separate seams connected by the welt: 1. the Goodyear seam on the inside, which you cannot see, and 2. The small stitch seam which you can see in the photo opposite.

Commando Vibram

Italian made, the Vibram sole has soon become an iconic rubber sole. With a bold and original look, it is made of 100% natural rubber, which offers the advantage of being both insulating and adherent, making it perfectly adapted to cold and rainy seasons.

Its heel is called "baraquette", which means that the small stitch goes all the way around the shoe.
